Attachments and Activities Sort Order

I'm not sure how to go about this, I need to change the default sort order for the grids on activities and attachments for contacts and accounts. I found the other post on changing it for a quick form, I understand how to do that. I'm just not sure how to do it for the custom forms.

you have to put the code in the page_load event of the custom smart part.

The code is the same as it is on quick forms.
