During an onsite last week, one of the features I had to show was to launch a report from a Detail view. I created a button shortcut for a report so it is easily accessible without having to change views  or go to the Reports menu and manually select the report. After doing some researching on the community, I found out that since Sage SalesLogix 7.5.2, there has been improvements to the way you can interact with the reporting API so it is pretty simple and quick to accomplish a scenario like this.
